SurgeryThe report of the development of interventions in the last ten years also details the most requested operations by sex. Of the total of over 12,000 interventions during the past 10 years, women account for 83.42 and 16.58 for men.

Rinoplasty  for women, hipomastia (breast prosthesis) ranks first with 24%, followed by rhinoplasty, with 22% of the total.

18% of the interventions have been liposuction operation that stands as one of the most consistent over the past 10 years.

The fourth place is held by the breast (breast reduction), which although is a mere 12%, is one intervention that has experienced faster growth.

Silicone Implants In Breast Augmentation

If they could, 87% of women want to change something in them, whether the abdomen (64%), thighs (50%), buttocks (38%) or breast (37%).

According to a survey published Harris Interactiv Saturday, March 13th in Top Health, 45% of women considering surgery or cosmetic medicine, which, respectively, only 6% and 4% have ever used.

If they could, 87% would like to change something in them, whether it’s belly for 64% of women surveyed, thighs (50%), buttocks (38%) or breast (37%).

Women aged 25 to 34 years are 67% to be beautiful. However, this perception decreases with age: 59% of women aged 35 to 49 years feel beautiful and only 55% of women aged 50 and over.

When asked what prevents them from crossing the threshold of aesthetic medicine (injections, laser, etc..), 48% recall rates and 47% oppose the fact of nature.

For surgery (face lifts, liposuction, etc..) Fear of medical consequences leads with 53% before charges, up to 52% and being against nature (44%).
